How and where I have to adjust the settings of Canon EOS 450D camera, that I could see in LCD screen what I am going to shoot? Now I can only see a view throughout the viewfinder. I wish to see a view throughout the LCD screen like in ordinary digital cameras. Pleas help me! Thanks!:)

Answer
You turn on the Live View function. Look in your manual, or dig through the menus.

You will find that it won't work the way you want it to work. Live view on that camera is only really useful on a tripod, with a still subject. When you press the shutter button, the camera has to close the shutter, clear the sensor, focus, and then actually take the picture.

What is the difference between the Canon Powershot series from the Canon Ixus series?

I am planning to buy a digital camera but I am not sure which is worth the investment. I am not a professional photographer.

Answer
There is no difference, they are exactly the same... just like the 450D and XSi. I don't really know why, but different parts of the world use a different name. Most people in America use Powershot, other places use IXUS.

Powershot SD850 = IXUS 950
Powershot SD870 = IXUS 860
Powershot SD950 = IXUS 960
Powershot SD750 = IXUS 75
Powershot SD1100 = IXUS 80
