Hello Experts, I would like to buy a digital camera for our home use. Please suggest me to choose best brand (sony/nikon/canon/olymbus/anyother) My budget is between Rs.8000 to Rs.11000. Also suggest me the model number.
To narrow the comparison, I would decide to compare between SONY and CANON. Which brand is best in Digital camera industry.

Here's my own opinion. Go with Canon. Get the PowerShot. Here's one option.

What is the "Misc" folder for?

DCIM = Digital Camera IMages. This and everything else about the naming convention is a JEITA standard.
What's that? Oh, JEITA = Japan Electronics and Information Technology industries Association.
