I lost had lost my battery charger for my canon power shot ss300. I was wondering if I could use a wall charger to hook it up and charge my camera?

Canon made a charger specifically for the battery used in it. Using any other means to charge it will risk overcharging (shortening the life of the battery overall) and/or overheating the battery which can cause a fire or even explosion.

Think of buying an actual Canon battery charger as insurance and a good reason to keep better track of your camera accessories
