I take MANY pictures with my digital camera, which has 12.2 mega pixels.
I want to take a step up, and get something better, to make my pictures more appealing, and professional looking.

Any suggestions?
please and thank you.

Answer
I would highly recommend getting something along the lines of a Canon T1i or even a used XSi. Even though the megapixels aren't too much higher than what you have now, the resolution will be like night and day. I started out with an XSi and have since moved onto a Canon 50D and here is what I've gotten from them (www.PhotographyByNC.com). The XSi lets you learn the basics without too much effort and from there you can move up to bigger and better things! A DSLR system will also allow you to specialize your lens selection for different uses (such as macro, portrait, telephoto, etc.) so the versatility really plays a factor as well.

As far as making your pictures look professional and such, that just comes down to research, learning, and practice. I learned most of what I know from reading forums such as Photography-on-the.net and fredmiranda.com

Hope this helps!

I am trying to find a good digital camera to use in a studio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Yes, why would you think you could not do so?
