I have a Canon G9 digital camera. whenever i take videos and download them to my computer, the files get saved as AVI. I cannot burn these to DVD so i want to know how i can change the format to Mpeg so i can burn them. Does anyone know how to do this? I would really appreciate any advice.. thanks

Answer
Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

1. Download ConvertXtoDVD here:
http://convertxtodvd.burner-software.com/

It can convert any video file.. like wmv, mpeg, asf, mp4, avi to dvd

2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle

3. Insert blank DVD

4. Click "Convert"

5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)

ConvertXtoDVD has a lot of extra nice features too,
for example you can make your own ANIMATED DVD menu or auto-generate it, add subtitles, auto-burn to dvd or save your conversion.

What is the best free online program to upload my photos from my digital camera to?

my computer?
I have a Canon G10 digital camera, and the WORST thing I ever did was to lose the installation disk that came with it. I now cannot transfer photos from my camera to my computer when I connect them with a USB wire.

FYI: I have Windows 8, and I am very annoyed that this computer does not come with built-in photo editing software, unlike my old Windows XP computer did.

Answer
Citrify, iPiccy, PicMonkey, Ribbet, Picadilo, Fotor, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you are a former Picnik user than Picmonkey and Ribbet will be your best choices.

If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software.
