what is the cheapest canon dslr that has video option?
I thought all canon dslr would have video in them, and they would have basic features like taking picture while looking at digital display. Apparently there is plenty of unfinished stuff going on with these dslr cameras.
Also is there a list of canon dslr cameras based on price and usability? like from simplest to more capable?

What's a good digital SLR camera for under 700 dollars?

I know that's a fairly low price ceiling but I've only recently started getting serious about photography and it would just be for my enjoyment. I'm hoping to find something user-friendly and/or easy to learn, versatile (I like hiking, cycling, and occasional dances in the rain so it needs to be sturdy enough for outdoor use), and not enormous. I know DSLRs aren't really tiny compared to point-and-shoots but are there some that're smaller than others in this price range? What should I look for in a new camera? Any pointers are greatly appreciated. :)

The two entry level dSLR cameras within your price range are the Nikon D3200 and Canon T3i/600D

Only you can determine which is best for you. To do that, you need to visit a proper camera shop to look and hold both cameras
