I need a free software that can extract photos from a Canon EOS 300D Digital Camera. Can anyone help?

Answer
Are you shooting RAW? If not, then you don't need any software to get photos from your camera.

If you use a PC...

Go to your nearest camera specialty store or Computer store and purchase a USB memory card reader.

Plug the card reader into your computer. Turn your camera off. Take the memory card out of the camera and put it into the card reader.

Use Windows Explorer(My Computer) to view the files on your memory card (it will show up as a removable disk drive).

You can copy and paste the files from your card into a folder on your computer.

If you're using a mac, use Finder instead of Explorer, or the card will show up on the desktop.

If you're not keen on the card reader idea, try reading the instruction manual for your camera. They have detailed information on how to transfer your images.

Good Luck.

What lens fit my Canon eos kiss x digital camera?

Phillip

I was just given a Canon EOS Kiss x digital camera but there werent any lens for it. I love trying out all sorts of cameras and want to take this one out for a spin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Any of the modern Canon AF lenses will fit, so too will Sigma, Tamron and other independent brands if they have a Canon mount.
You didn't give any budget... and top-spec lenses can cost up to many thousands, but Canon's little 18-55 kit lens is perfectly adequate to start with (around $100 on EBay). If I was going to keep the camera I'd put a Tamron 18-270 lens on it for general use (around $350 on Ebay.)
