I don't plan to spend over 100$ for this camera.
I had Kodak digital cameras before but I heard their new cameras are not that great.
What brand do you recommend? I've heard of Nikon, Canon and Olympus are good.
How high should I go for megapixels? Should I stay between 12-14?
Looking for a camera that can take great pictures in any type of lighting and also that can take videos.
I've heard of ISO performance? What is it? I heard it ranges from 100 to 3200. What number should my camera have to make sure it provides good quality pictures?

Thank you :)
100 to 150 $

I think you should consider Canon PowerShot A3300 IS 16.0 MP Digital Still Camera with 5x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom, Record movies with 720p HD video. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HW73PC?ie=UTF8&tag=a882-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004HW73PC

what is the best reflex digital camera?

im planning on buying a reflex digital camera but there are to many models and i don't know what to look for.. like it should look for a maximum pixel? or higher ISO? what do you think of canon ESO 500D or nikon D3S?

Answer
Go on www.dpreview.com and go on the reviews. There you will find everything you need to know and it's a safe website and you can put cameras side by side to review them. You don't need to be looking for a D3S those are for professional photographers or advanced amateurs. If you got one of them most likely being there are sooo many buttons you probably wouldn't know how to use it and it would cost you a TON of money and it would become more of a status symbol for you to have the expensive camera. The 500d is ok. I'm assuming your new to photography or just want a better camera so really cameras are good based on how much money you want to spend. Maximum pixel will just give you bigger photos but a 5 megapixel can give you a good 5 by 7 photo. A 12 megapixel can give you a 8 by 11. Higher ISO will just let you take a picture in lower lighting BUT the picture will be more grainy and come out looking worse i try not to shoot in anything over 3200 ISO and that's if i have to i try to not go higher than 1600 which most cameras can go up to. Canon,Nikon are the leaders with Sony following. Good lens brands are Nikon, Canon, Sony and Sigma(which makes lenses for all brands) Hassleblads are good for LARGE prints like a wall photo not the most portable either. E-mail me if you want more info(feel free)
