My Canon 860IS Digital Camera Lens is stuck halfway. It won't come out fully when I put it on and the screen reads Lens Error, Restart Camera. Do you know how I can solve this problem? I am on a vacation and would love to get tons of pictures.

Problem with my digital camera downloading pictures.

I am trying to download pictures from my digital camera to my PC. When I go to start the download, I get a message box that says "Camera or Scanner in Use, please try again later". I was able to download pics earlier today, what's going on? I have a Canon A80 camera and an HP Pavilion PC.
There is nothing else hooked up.

Not sure if its a HP thing...but with my new HP desktop I get the same thing; 1) my fix is to connect the cable to the USB port, 2) with the camera switched off connect the cable to the PC; 3) which on the camera (make sure batts are OK).

I have the same issue with my inbuilt card readers, they will not pickup the memory cards first time. The fix here is to restart the PC.
