f420crazy7

we recently got a new computer and i want to put pictures from my canon powershot sd600 digital elph camera but i lost the disc to put the software on the computer..is there ne thing free that i can download to get the pictures on my new computer?

Answer
If you had just bought your computer then most likely it is equipped with an SD/MMC card reader thus you can transfer your pictures from your SD card to your hard disk using your file browser. if your computer is not equipped with an SD card reader then my best advise is just to buy one (around $20 for a multi-card reader or even less)

but you can download support soft-wares from this link...

Digital Camera Memory Card Locked?

Mr. Owl, P

I have a Canon Power Shot A550 and an SD memory card. Today while I was taking a video with the camera, it turned off and said changed the batteries. So I did, and when I turned it back on the camera said Memory Card Error - Card Locked. So I went to see if the little switch on the said was in locked mode, nope. Im so mad right nowthreess tons of stuff on that card that I havent transferred yet. How can I make it work again?

Answer
you have to unlock it keeping trying the little slider on the card.
