You can go to canon's website and get the driver there.

i lost the CD that came with it & when I go on the canon website it tells me that there are no longer downloads for this product with windows XP (my operating system) thanks!

you probably don't need drivers if you are running XP, the cds that came with the camera is the canon zoom browser software that can also be downloaded from the canon website
