best compact digital camera...?

i'm planning to buy a new camera, but i'm not the greatest expert on finding the best quality one... i'm looking for one that's preferably under $200, 14 mega pixels, and takes high quality pictures. any brand will do! :)

2. 14MP is really big, mega pixels means the amount of pixels in a photo, which is the size. It has absolutely nothing to do with image quality.

Q. I'd like to start a YouTube channel that consists of vlogs and tutorials, and I'd like to get a new camera...what camera is available that takes HD/high quality video and is less than $300?
