You can do your own research here.

Canon lists the cost of each camera they sell. So does Nikon. Why other cameras companies do not, is an interesting question

NOTE: You have listed many of the same camera models, with different designations based upon where they are sold, the Americas, Europe and Asia.

You can see that here.

The time it took you to list all those cameras, you could have done the basic research and found your answer

What's the best DSLR camera for shooting video?

Paul

Even though these cameras are made primarily for photographs which I also intend to take, I need to know if anyone has an opinion on the video features of these types of cameras.
I already have a proper video camera, but just want something to complement it when I tape concerts and stuff and need an alternate angle or just to be able to roam.

I'm thinking about the Canon Kiss or Rebel EOS type as I am leaning towards purchasing an X5, but advice on any similar brands also appreciated... preferably under $1000.
Thanks.
Sorry ---maybe I need to make my question a little more clear:
I already have a great video camera.
I'm in the market for a DSLR (for photographs) but also with the best video features possible in order to add further angles to the videos I make.
Thanks.

Answer
If video is your primary concern, consider a camcorder. Most camcorders will take good photos. While they may not be DSLR quality photos, the video aspect is much better. They typically have higher recording speeds which will allow you to record more at one time. Most DSLR's will record as much as the memory card will allow, but not all at one time. After a few minutes they will have to stop recording so that the camera can "catch up."

That said, the Nikon D3100 is great for video. It is inexpensive and has 1080p recording with full time auto-focus and the photos are outstanding. You can get the camera and the 18-55 lens with Vibration Reduction for around $500.

Be sure that you purchase an SDHC card if you do not already have one. (SDHC is Secure Digital High Capacity. Basically, just a card that holds more than SD.) Also take in to account an additional lens. A good secondary starter lens would be a 55-200. Then you may need a bag, a flash, tripod, extra battery, a damage protection plan, and countless other accessories. You should be able to get everything you need for under $1000 if you get this camera and only the accessories you need. You should definitely take the price of the accessories into account when purchasing the camera, because some of them are necessities.

Hope this helps.
